Summary: The cottage at Circular Bay is a perfect place to find peace, joy, and tranquility on Waiheke Island. The biggest challenge was deciding weather to paddle board, sit in the hot tub, recline in a bean bag chair overlooking the bay, watch and listen to the multiple birds, walk the beach, or fall asleep in the shade. Perfect in every way. The property is so beautiful with all the amenities we could have needed for a great escape. Thank you so much to Mudbrick Properties for taking such good care of us. We loved every minute.

Summary: We were so excited to stay at this property. The location is incredible. Unfortunately the cottage was a little underwhelming. For the price paid per night, our expectations were high. What we expected was a considered, highly thoughtful interior and guest experience. The interior was relatively clean but lacked finesse. The decor was minimal with zero styling. No room felt complete. The bathroom/laundry needs a revamp considering it is supposed to service 6 plus guests. Thankfully there were only 3 of us. For such a beautiful cottage, the garden is completely neglected. The only form of planting is a row of dead lavender which was littered with empty beer bottles and rubbish. Some scaffolding was left down the side of the house, which we could see looking out from our bedroom window. After coming directly from another property that was half the price of this cottage, utterly faultless and overwhelming beautiful (12/10), it was pretty disappointing.
